So when we think we've escaped the unbearable ordinariness and, well, untruthfulness of our lives, it's really only the same old ordinariness and falseness rearranged into the appearance of novelty and truth. It’s a disgrace! How can the blase’ be triumphing so? They can’t possibly have a good army. ------------------------------------------------- We are losing them to apathy. ------------------------------------------------- In the world I see, you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower.
