Just thought I'd pop in and brag about my CHILDREN OF TIME AWARD NOMINATION!!!11!! For 'Doting on a Crime'.
It is important and prestigious in the context of the fanfiction world.

I haven't even seen Children of Earth yet, I am seriously ignoring/slacking in the world of Torchwood because Owen is dead.
But go vote for my story and maybe I'll come back.
(Do you even vote? I don't know. I can't even figure out the CoT website. Ack.)

Dearest F-List,

I am writing to inform you that this livejournal is currently on hiatus until the fandom can get ahold of itself.

Owen is dead, Dave, Catherine and Freema have left the building, and Janto is wreaking irreversible havoc on my friendspage.

My squee has hereby been extinguished until something spark-worthy on either Torchwood or Doctor Who lures me back.

If I have any faithful Flisters who'd like to stalk me outside the fandom-- I will be partaking in a weekly RL vlogging project on Youtube: Thursdays at Remembertheladies, which is vacant at the present, but kicks off next week (March 16th, 2009).
I can guarantee the fate of Torchwood will be bitched about on more than one occasion.
I encourage everyone to watch and subscribe.

Captain Jack on Tosh:
Tosh was a genius! I mean, I have never seen anybody able to read out loud from a Rift monitor screen as well as she could. And people don't even know how awesome she was. She was not just a software engineer. She was a web developer too! People would say, Oh there's Toshiko building a particle accelerator, or whatever. But I'd reply: Have you seen her embed a .gif in a fucking table? She's fabulous!!!! She could centre a header like nobody's business. If there was a button, she would bevel the shit out of it.

AHAH ETA:
And on Owen:
There's so much people don't know about Owen.

He was always flat-hunting. That was his thing. He went from one posh condo to another! As long as it had a nice long wall to screw girls up against, he was happy. Many times I promised him Ianto to move furniture and boxes, in exchange for beer and pizza for me.

Later, we found out he was just buying new places when his current flat got too dirty. He didn't even sell the old ones. I wonder if our payroll system needs review? I sign the forms where the happy face sticker is, but who has time to fucking read these things?

It's funny because it's my personal fanon. Like I think his apartment from S1-S2 changed. But he brought the windows.

P.S. OHMYGAWD

So I'm doing...research for my epic TW/Magic School Bus crossover and trying to pair up characters that would work well together dialogue-wise (ie. Carlos/Owen, Arnold/Ianto, Ms. Frizzle/Jack, etc.) and I stumbled across some other old skool shows in the process.

...Okay, so is Phoebe  from "Hey Arnold" NOT Tosh's Mini-me?
I'm pretty sure there was a "Hey Arnold" episode where Pheobe had to build a sonic screwdriver to save her mom.


TMSB's Wanda (TOKEN ASIAN CHARACTER) does not mesh well with Tosh for the sake of the fic.
Wanda was more akin to Owen and had like ADHD and could probably kick Tosh's ass (no offense Tosh) Y/Y?

Just kidding, in the battle of Tosh vs. Wanda, Tosh would cut a bitch. Wanda probably grew up to be someone reckless and important.
I can see her being Yvonne Hartman-like, but more bubbly.
She probably became head of TW4 and was responsible for its disappearance.
Hm. Yes. This is going in the fic.
